Guided Meditation for Stress

Take a few deep breaths. Close your eyes for a moment & find your center. Shut out all extraneous influences, and read slowly.

Picture yourself near a stream.

Birds are singing in the crisp, cool mountain air.

Nothing can bother you here.

No one knows this secret place.

You are in total seclusion from that place called the world.

The soothing sound of a gentle waterfall fills the air with a cascade of serenity.

The water is clear.

You can easily make out the face of the person whose head you're holding under the water.

There now, feel better?

Ahhhh. You're right. Once he stopped struggling and passed out, I felt ever so much better.

Hmmmm... Unorthodox, for sure... I like it. I think I know just who to hold underwater.

Cute ;-)

The other day at work I felt slightly demented for picturing a particularly difficult coworker on fire beneath the wheels of a moving vehicle. I was talking to some friends about my nerves which were hanging by their last frayed thread. I all of a sudden had this beautiful picture come to mind.

First she was walking, then she sparked and WHOOSH! up in flames. Only to have her misery ended by a ford F-350.

Dualie.

I literally laughed till I cried. I still do every time I picture it.

She's a mean old bag and we have had words many times. While I wouldn't actually light her up any way besides verbally myself, were I to see her in flame I would be hard pressed to take any action. I might call someone. I might just take a picture though.
